I'm Dan Moore, of Topeka, Kansas, and I bracket race a 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Home track is Heartland Park Topeka, an NHRA National Event facility, where I run the Sportsman (pure footbrake) class.
Also race at Midwest Raceway, a 1/8 mile track in Manhattan, KS, (Footbrake/Sportsman class).
Kansas City International Raceway in Independence, Missouri, where I was the 2002 Footbrake Points Champion, and Runner-up in 2003.
My car has a "little" (408 CID) Big-Block Chevy engine which I spec's & built myself, and Turbo-400 trans.
Best 1/4 mile ET with this combination is 12.89 @ 107mph.
